When hitting enemies with Grasping Roots, Zyra spawns Thorn Spitters who fight for her. If it misses, a Thorn Spitter will spawn at the end of the root’s travel path instead. Thorn Spitters automatically attack Zyra’s target, dealing Magic Damage. Deadly Spines or Stranglethorns spawn additional Thorn Spitters for each extra enemy champion, large monster, or epic monster hit. A Thorn Spitter with 30 - 240 (+22% - 50%) Health sprouts when Grasping Roots first hits an enemy champion. If no enemy champion is hit, a Thorn Spitter will sprout when Grasping Roots ends. Thorn Spitters automatically attack targets within 6 seconds of sprouting, dealing 10 - 108 (+10%) magic damage. An additional Thorn Spitter sprouts with every enemy champion, large monster, or epic monster Deadly Spines or Stranglethorns hits. Thorn Spitters deal an additional 23 - 65 damage against monsters. Thorn Spitters spawned after the first deal 50% damage against the same target. Enemy champions' abilities deal 35% damage against Thorn Spitters. Non-epic monsters deal 35% damage against Thorn Spitters.
